At the Vineyard, we reserve water baptism for people who have made a personal decision to follow Christ. As babies are not ready to make that decision for themselves, we do not practice infant baptism.

We do, however, see great benefit in dedicating a child to the Lord, asking God to protect them until they are ready to make the decision to follow Christ for themselves. We invite the parents to come forward with the child and surround them with family and friends. We not only pray for the child, but also for the church's responsibility in bringing the child up in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We set aside time in one Sunday morning a month during our 11:30am service for this special occasion.
