Welcome Center - Please join us for refreshments in our Welcome
Center. We love to greet newcomers. You'll receive a free CD of great Vineyard music and have an opportunity to meet with some
friendly people in our church. The Welcome Center is open every Sunday immediately following the morning services.
Pick up your children first and come join us.
Campus Tour - Following your stop in the
Welcome Center you can take a brief tour of our church campus. Our
facility sits on 22 acres and there are over 100 ministries that operate
from it weekly. This 25-30 minute tour will give you a glimpse of the
many opportunities to get involved here at Vineyard Boise.
The Next Step
- This is an excellent class if you are brand new disciple of Jesus, or just
want to brush up on the basics of Christian belief. Please call the church
for the next start time.
Alpha - Alpha is a 12-week
course on the "introduction to the Christian faith". Alpha is different than
Foundations in Faith", in that dinner is served each night with a 40-minute
teaching. We also break into small groups in order to build relationships.
Alpha is for non-believers, those checking out Christianity, those who are
spiritual and seeking truth, or those just wanting to build or re-build
their foundation in what they believe. Alpha course will be offered 3 times
a year, and you must register to attend.

Discipleship Groups - A loving community awaits you at a Discipleship Group. Each one has it's own personality so you are sure to find
a group that feels like home. They all have a good time putting into practice the central values of the
Vineyard. Such as:
 | Having intimate worship of God. |
 | Applying the Bible to your life practically. |
 | Praying for others and receiving prayer. |
 | Enjoying mutually shared lives with friends. |
 | Finding help and support through the struggles of life. |
 | Joining others in serving the church. |
 | Developing life-long friendships. |
 | Having fun! |
Groups meet throughout the week in private homes in many different locations. There is most likely one near you.
For a current list of Discipleship Groups, pick up a copy of the Winepress at the Brochure Center located
adjacent to the Information Counter.

Family Fun - Contact
Cindy Esposito at the

Family Camp - You need to plan for this annual fun
event in Idaho's great outdoors. Usually people make this a multi-day good time as
part of their vacation. Your organization and event planning skills could be
valuable in putting this event together.
River Festival Fireworks-
This family event starts at the church where we have an all church potluck.
We have activities for the entire family from water games to live music with
the choir. We then load up coolers with popsicles which we give out at the
Train Depot to bless the community. Finally, we settle down and watch the
city’s largest firework presentation of the year. Bring your friends and
family. |

Nursery (Newborn - 24 months) - You are invited to bring your love
and tender care to the little ones of our church in a safe, sanitary and Jesus filled
environment. If you are a grandma or grandpa, you are encouraged to be a part of this vital ministry as you just seem to naturally know how to
give excellent care.Sunday School -
{to be read with a western drawl.} Everybody's goin to the Wild West Show!
C'mon pardner, yuh can be a school marm or yuh can be some help to one during this
rip-roarin, fun time down at the Kids-Korral. The teachin stuff is top notch and so
is the trainin. When yuh join this team, yuh get blessed twice. First by the
kids, then by God. Let me tell yuh friend, yer blessings will go far-r-r-r-r-r
beyond yer wildest of wild-west dreams. {boots optional - no spurs}
Vacation Bible School - If you are serious
about clowning around, come be a part of VBS. It's a "Jesus circus" and it
lasts a week. But you can make a difference now as the preparation takes most of a
year. You can help kids with crafts and activities that engage their creative minds
and point them towards Jesus as you and they have fun, fun, fun! {we'll even supply
the red nose.}
Home School Cooperative - If you are home
schooling or are considering the idea, check out the Co-op. Find out the advantages to you
and your family and how the Co-op can help you. You will be pleasantly surprised by
what you find. Plenty of opportunities to help with events, field trips and even
in-class support.
Kid's Camp - So you just can't devote time
every week, but you want to help with the kids? Here's a once a year event that can
put your desire and talents to work. If you can get a week free for adventure, you
could always be a camp counselor.
Wilderness Camp-
A survival camp for 5th and 6th graders. We spend 3
days and 2 nights during summer back packing and enjoying each other and
God’s creation. All campers carry everything they need for the weekend:
food, clothes, bedding, and lodging. We explore the similarities between
surviving in the wilderness and living the spiritual disciplines of a
Christian. Harvest Festival - Halloween leaves you
creepy and you have concern for your children, especially their safety? Help us
organize fun and games for the younger set as an alternative to Trick-or-Treating.
It only lasts one evening but the planning and set up can use your creative input. A
real family event! |

Youth Discipleship Groups - Something like youth
church but bite-size so you can really get to know people. More interactive
too, Flavors from Pistachio to Licorice. Go check it out.
Activities - Everybody digs a party -
Especially Christians. Ours happens every month. We need you to help us pull
the details together and make it happen. Or just show up and enjoy. Beats
pulling weeds.
Camps - A week long Jesus X-treme.
Choose not to miss it. We do it in the snow as well as the Summer rays.
Groove with old friends and new ones too. We hook up with a bunch of other churches
in the valley and just kick it! Hey, the camp counselors are cool too. {No,
really!}
Youth Missions Trip - Go boldly with God
to places you've never been. Guaranteed to change your life, someone else's, and
give you a new perspective on the planet! If you are 15 or older and are serious
about doing something significant with your life... this is where to start. Younger
than 15? Catch you next year.
Outreaches - Step out of your own groove
and help a fellow human or two. All you need is concern for others and a bit of time to
give. Opportunities include a barbecue for the poor every
fourth Sunday of the month. Got an idea? Bring it on! As long as it
doesn't include spiders, or snakes. Or Turkish prison camps... you get the idea. |

Adult Education - Contact

You have many and varied opportunities for furthering
your Christian education through Vineyard Boise. Most courses fit into one of the four
divisions listed below. As they become available, course schedules are published in
the weekly church bulletin. You sign up at the Information counter.Basics of Christianity - These classes provide
introductions to the foundations of our faith. We help you understand biblical truth
and what it looks like to live it out. Classes include The Way to Maturity, by John
Wimber, the founder of the Vineyard. Coming soon - the popular Alpha course!
Discipleship Classes - These classes are
divided up into three categories: education, counseling and training. All
discipleship classes have the same function, to propel you towards Jesus Christ and see a
life- changing transformation as you learn from Him.
Bible Studies - Bible Studies are classes that guide you through a personal study of a specific book of the Bible. They help you
focus on proper exegesis and life application. We use resources such as Precept Ministries, and
Vineyard Bible Institute.
Theology Classes - Theology classes help
you develop a deeper, more personal understanding of God's character, His ways, His word
and His church. Classes include New Testament Survey, Bible History, the Gospel of
the Kingdom, NT Greek, etc. |

Women - Contact
Kate
Frank at the church |

A place to become all God
has created you to be -- through encouragement, discipleship, support and
friendship. It is our primary goal to see women walking in the call the Lord
has for them, ministering to each other, and experiencing the joy of the
Lord - and then giving that joy to others and watching it spread!
From small groups to
Bible studies to outreaches in Garden City our desire is that women will
grow in their walk with the Lord, coming alongside one another in good times
and during challenging times.
Two are better
than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down,
his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to
help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how
can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend
themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
(NIV)

Men's Advance - Formerly

God. You are invited to join the
annual trek to McCall for a week-long encounter with God and a bunch of really great
guys. Men's
Night Out - "If you feed them, they will come." Every so often the men
of the church gather around the table to get real and really filled up. It won't
cost you much but you will find your encounter with God and His men invaluable.
Watch your bulletin and then go for it!
Whitewater Retreat - Do we have an
adventure for you! If you have ever shot the rapids on a wild Idaho river, then we
have no need to sell you on this event. If you haven't, then now is the time.
We plan one of these every year, so be on the lookout for it in your bulletin.
Annual Golf Scramble - This
annual event, sponsored by the men's ministry is not just for the
guys. It is for everyone who enjoys having fun on the golf course. Join us in
August for a round of fun at Foxtail.
Prayer & Fasting Campout - "If
you don't feed them, they will still come." You too can be a mountain man for
God. The guys that make this event don't eat quiche, they eat nothing at all {well
almost}. It is an all nighter around the campfire with God and the guys. Try
it, you'll like it. |

for change and recovery from the problems that continue to plague your

God's Children" Park Ministry - Contact Tempe
McFarlane at the church. Here is a wonderful and extremely practical
way for you to reach out to the
homeless in our community. They really are great people who just happen to be a
little down in their life situation. Every Sunday afternoon we feed them hot meals
in the park. Come join one of our Sunday afternoon teams. Each week, about 20 people spend a couple
hours flippin' burgers and hotdogs and handing out cokes. Your commitment? A couple of hours per month. Can you commit? We need
you.
Resource Net - Resource Net is a great
community ministry that helps people in need. You can have a worthwhile experience helping individuals and families solve their short and long term
practical needs of life. Minister the love of Christ over the phone during weekday mornings.
Helping Others With Your Skills and Time. Everybody can do something. Whatever your skill or talent is, from fixing cars, to
carpentry. From yard work, to giving someone a ride to the doctor, or maybe delivering a food box with a smile - we need you. And so do those
who can't help themselves right now.
Let us know what you are willing to
do and which days are the best for snatching an hour or two from your busy schedule.
G.I.F.T. Gleaning Program - G.I.F.T stands
for Going Into the Fields Together. It enables low-income individuals and families
to find alternative food sources. Gleaning is an age old practice that can be a
rewarding family outing as it fills that family pantry with free food.

Worship
is one of the highest values at the Vineyard. Because of this, we dedicate the first 30
minutes of our services to praising the Lord in worship and song. During this time, we
hope you'll express yourself in the way you're most comfortable... sitting, standing,
tapping your foot, or even getting a little excited. We have various ways for you to
get involved.Worship Bands - Are
you a musician or vocalist with a heart to serve God? Because we are constantly
developing new bands and musicians, we are always looking for people like you. Pick
up a brochure at the info center or contact
Andy Hendley at the Vineyard for more detailed information.
Small Group Worship - Worship is a part of
everything we do here at the Vineyard. We are looking for people to help lead

Baptisms - Contact Sharon
Taylor at the church. Do you need to be baptized? Not sure? Believers baptisms
are conducted every quarter as a part of Vineyard 101. In addition, we try to have
one baptism in the river during the summer for those hearty souls who desire it. You
can make arrangements or get your questions answered by calling the church office or sending us a note.
 | The parents of children who desire baptism should contact
Cindy Esposito at the church.
|
 | Youth should contact Trevor Estes at the church. |
Baby Dedications - Contact Sharon
Taylor at the church. You can have your baby
dedicated to the Lord Jesus and receive the blessings of the church. We dedicate
babies every fourth Sunday as part of our church services. This is always a very
special time for family and friends.
We follow the leading of the Bible by not baptizing
babies. They are not yet able to decide to trust Jesus Christ on their own and are
therefore not yet able to be "believers".
Please contact any
pastor for clarification if you have any questions. |
