3. Why does the Vineyard
not meet
at the Grove for Easter anymore?
Besides outgrowing The Grove, we also felt
God was leading us in a new direction. Our Easter service is now set over
several events over the Easter weekend and is very participatory.

8. Is it hard to feel at home
in a church so big?
Although hundreds of people attend worship services, there
are many opportunities to join small groups and build relationships. Dozens of
Discipleship Groups meet during the week, and there are many ministry activities to get
involved with.

10. What does Vineyard Boise
do to help the poor?
Lots of stuff! We give boxes of food to low-income
families. We provide rides to church for people who are homeless or who live at Community
House and Boise Rescue Mission. We have a barbecue to feed the homeless every Sunday at
Julia Davis Park. Through our gleaning program, we provide alternate grocery sources for
low-income families. And on top of all these regular ministries, we try to help meet
specific needs as they arise. For more information see the Benevolence
and Outreach index.

11. What does benevolence
mean?
From the New Webster's Dictionary ...
"kindheartedness; generous giving."
12. How do I get more
connected?
A good place to start is
the Hospitality Room. At the end of each service you can meet some of the
church staff and other friendly people. You will find all kinds of information
about the church and our activities, as well as be able to talk to the
people who could answer your questions.
One
of the best ways to get connected is just to jump in. Go visit a
Discipleship Group, volunteer to serve in one of the many ministries, or
participate in an upcoming activity. It is easier than you think to be
part of the family!
