We will be rafting down the Main Payette River from Banks to above Horseshoe Bend, which has approximately Class 2 to Class 3 rapids. It is a guided tour with
Cascade Raft Company. We will be paddling and getting pretty wet. Expect to have FUN!!
Schedule
10:30 AM Meet at Vineyard Boise church parking lot to carpool
11:00 AM Leave for the trip
12:00 PM Arrive at raft outfitters:
Cascade Kayak and Raft Company
Five miles north of Horseshoe Bend.
Eat lunch. Sign paperwork for raft trip.
1:30 PM Get in shuttle bus to take us to the raft.
1:45 PM Get on the water and head downstream.
4:00 PM Arrive back at the outfitters.
5:30 or so Arrive back at the church parking lot.
What to
Wear
Wear something that you can move in and can get really wet -- shorts and T-shirts are good for this. Remember your footwear.
Aqua-socks or old tennis shoes are good. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen. Lifejackets will be provided.
