Viet Nam/Cambodia Benefit Banquet – last
day to purchase tickets
A group of Vineyard Boise’s own young
adults and college age students have given up a part of their
Christmas vacation to travel to Vietnam and Cambodia. These
individuals will help supply much needed rice to orphans and street
kids as well as put on a Christmas Carnival for these children. To
raise funding for this outreach, they will be holding a “Christmas
in Asia 2006” Benefit Banquet. This will be held in Heritage Hall at
6 p.m. on Saturday, October 28. Tickets are being sold for a minimum
suggested donation of $10. This will be a classy sit down meal
event, with live classical/jazz musical entertainment. Come support
this outreach and enjoy a great evening of food and fellowship!
Tickets will be sold out in Heritage Hall today after both services
or you can purchase your Banquet tickets at our Vineyard Book Cellar
any time during normal store hours. For more info or if you have
questions, contact Krissy Fulton for more information,
krissyfulton@gmail.com.

persecuted Christians around the world. Don’t miss it!
Be an extra in a Christian film!

Ministry to the Incarcerated – Recycle
your books and yarn!
Set women free on the inside! Let your
generosity be a turning point in the life of an incarcerated woman.
Their need is very great! We will be helping the Pocatello Women
State Corrections build a good Christian library and replenish their
supply of yarn to knit baby articles for the hospitals this year.
So, if you have any unwanted Christian books, used or new, large
print Bibles, and/or new or unused yarn, please place them in the
container just outside our bookstore in Heritage Hall for the next
few weeks! The ladies will be blessed and very grateful!
Art Gala “STEP OUT”

Ladies Retreat Reunion and Baptism night
Since the fall retreat in 2004 our
retreat facilities have not been set-up for baptisms. In the past, a
retreat was a wonderful place to be baptized at. We are planning a
baptism party and dessert on Wednesday, October 25 so we can baptize
ladies who have wanted to be baptized in the past. So ladies, if
this is you, please plan to attend this special event. This is going
to be great party. Linda Stevens will be speaking to us again and
dessert and coffee will be provided. For more info or if you have
questions, RSVP to kate.frank@vineyardboise.org or call the
church office, 377-1477.
Baby dedications at the Vineyard
On Sunday, October 29, we will have baby
dedications. To allow for more time, we will be doing all
dedications during our 11 a.m. service. If you’d like to have your
child dedicated on this Sunday, let us know by filling out today’s
v-mail or contacting Sharon Taylor at the church office, 377-1477 or
sharon.taylor@vineyardboise.org. If you sign up on today’s
v-mail, please indicate your child’s name as you would like it
engraved on a brick for Heritage Plaza.
Children’s Ministry wants you!
Attention! Attention! Children’s
ministry is in need of teachers for first service. We need a
kindergarten and second grade teacher. If you have passion for kids
and want to see them empowered to live God’s will victoriously in
their lives then Children’s Ministry wants you. For more info or if
you have questions, contact Erik Nelson at the church office,
377-1477.
Wednesday Night Alive Needs You
Our
Wednesday Night Alive program needs your help. We are in need of
teacher assistants for Sonshine Club (Kindergarten-2nd grade) and
for Walk the Line (3rd-6th grade). We also need prayer mentors for
Walk the Line. This involves praying with a group of students and
spending a few minutes mentoring them each week at the conclusion of
the class. If God has placed kids on your heart, come and check out
WNA, we would love to meet you. If you have questions or need more
information, contact April Starratt at the church office, 377-1477.
