The
purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God's
healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles." This
experience allows us to "be changed." We open the door by sharing our
experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become
willing to accept God's grace in solving our lives' problems. By working and
applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become
free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This
freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger
personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the
program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus
Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.
"President George W. Bush praised the
Celebrate Recovery Program as a ministry that does what government
cannot--change hearts."

Friday Nights from 6:00-10:00PM. |
Celebrate Recovery at Vineyard Boise began October 2003 and has seen changed
lives, warmed hearts, and the power of God's deliverance.
Dinner
A relaxing time of dining and fellowship where healthy relationships can be established,
this prepares us for the work ahead. ($3 donation requested to offset costs) 6:00pm-6:45pm
General Meeting
Beginning
with worship to help open the heart in preparation. Renewed faith can be
experienced in hearing teaching from those who are gifted or have a message to share, and the power of testimony both confronts our pain and and
reassures us that we are not alone in our battles. 7:00pm-8:00pm
Small Groups
Breaking into male and female groups facilitated by leaders who have gone through similar hurts hang-ups or habits we open up and share our experiences and struggles. Our leaders are not counselors and the participants do not attempt to "fix" one another. Only offering guidance when possible, and a safe
environment for personal growth.
 |
Keep your sharing focused on your own thoughts and feelings. Limit
your sharing to 3-5 minutes |
 |
There is NO cross talk. Cross talk is when two people engage in
conversation excluding all others. Each person is free to express
his or her feelings without interruptions. |
 |
We
are here to support one another, not "fix" one another.
|
 |
Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements. What is
shared in the group stays in the group. The only exception is when
someone threatens to injure themselves or others. |
 |
Offensive language has no place in a Christ-centered recovery group.
